Kathryn Denbow graduated from the University of the West Indies with the LL.B Honours Degree in 2000.  She was admitted to practice in Jamaica in 2002 and in Trinidad and Tobago in 2006. 


Prior to joining the Law Offices of Dr. Claude Denbow S.C., she served as a Crown Counsel in the Attorney General’s Chambers in Jamaica.  While there, she was a member of the Litigation Division and later a member of the Constitutional and Legislative Affairs Division. 


She has participated in the preparation of Jamaica’s Civil Procedure Rules 2002 which are modelled on the UK Civil Procedure Rules 1998 and are similar to the Civil Proceedings Rules in Trinidad and Tobago.  She is also participated in meetings of the Joint Select Committee to Parliament and provided advice on the Jamaica Companies Act 2004 (which is similar to the Trinidad Companies Act 1995).  She was the Convenor for the Insolvency Rules Sub-Committee of the Rules Committee of the Supreme Court. 


She is a member of the Jamaican Bar Association and participated in publications and presentations to its members.  She is also a member of the Law Association of Trinidad & Tobago.
